The Bronx Charter School for Excellence (BCSE), also known as Bronx Excellence 1-5 and Middle, is a K-8 free, public charter school network serving the Parkchester, Morris Park and Wakefield neighborhoods of the Bronx, NY. Bronx Excellence is among the highest performing charter schools in New York City and State. In 2012, Bronx Excellence gained recognition as a National Blue Ribbon School – the U.S. Department of Education’s highest honor for schools across the country.
