Co-Curricular

Excellence Community Schools believes that co-curricular opportunities are critical to ensuring that our scholars are well-rounded members of society when they graduate. During the day, our scholars participate in activities like music and computer science. Outside of school hours, our Bobcats have the opportunity to participate in various athletics, glee club, student government and city-wide competitions like the Annual Urban Advantage Science Fair.

Athletics

We participate with the Charter School Athletic Association. While our sports offerings vary each school year, they have included: Boys and Girls Basketball, Softball, Soccer, Track and Volleyball.

Our athletic offerings allow scholars to continually build their self-confidence, develop their team building skills as well as understand the responsibilities of a student-athlete. Daily, our scholars are developing real-time strategies while practicing active leadership, team dynamics, and listening skills which are vital to realizing accomplishments in school, sports, and beyond.
